PES Crew Recognized for Safety and Teamwork

A PES crew recently earned recognition for its teamwork, commitment to safety and performance on the ST 131K Riser Repair and ST 151P1 to ST 131K Gas Lift projects.

Ron Williams, construction consultant with Facilities Consulting Group, LLC, praised the crew following the projects, highlighting the way team members worked together through demanding conditions while keeping safety at the forefront.

“There are no weak links in this chain; and I am proud to call them my own,” Williams said.

The recognition reflects a team that has built a strong working relationship in a relatively short amount of time. When the crew came together in March, its members had not previously worked together. They quickly faced a demanding schedule, completing six projects originally planned over a six-week period in just two weeks. Since then, the team has continued working together across planned projects, repairs and other field work.

That teamwork was put to the test again during the ST 131K Riser Repair. A hurricane and two cold fronts delayed the project before the crew ultimately worked through a third cold front. Despite the difficult weather, Williams noted that safety remained a priority throughout the project.

Williams specifically recognized PES supervisors Joel Smith, Randy Duncan and Danny McNeese, as well as Casey Williams and Justin Inboden, for their contributions. His recognition extended to the full crew and the teamwork that helped bring both the riser repair and gas lift projects to a safe and successful completion.

With 23 years in the industry, Williams said the group stands out for the way its members work together and support one another.

The recognition is a testament to the crew’s ability to come together, adapt to challenging circumstances and maintain a strong commitment to safety while getting the job done.
